Guest Teacher: Gen Kelsang Sherab
Gen Sherab has been our dedicated and inspiring Resident Teacher since 2004
Gen Kelsang Sherab teaches with clarity and wisdom from deep experience of meditation. He shows us how to keep a happy heart in whatever we do.
Gen Kelsang Sherab has been a student of his Spiritual Guide, the Meditation Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, since 1998 and he was ordained as a Buddhist monk in 2004. He teaches a number of classes at Compassion Buddhist Centre and the surrounding area and is deeply appreciated by our community.
As the Resident Teacher in Newcastle, Gen Kelsang Sherab has been instrumental in the development of Compassion Centre. He devotes his time to teaching dharma and developing opportunities for this in the North East.
Gen Sherab inspires students with thought provoking and energising teachings.
